So, I slept 12 hours last night, and I actually feel like a human being today (as opposed to a zombie of some sort). However, I am still grumpy, because of various other factors. Better to be grumpy and well rested, then brain dead and grumpy. _

It annoys me that, even though there are test dates, not every test is offered every date. I don't know why. Very irksome. Especially given that the test is multiple choice! They don't even need people to grade the damn thing! They can turn it over to machines! And it still takes six weeks to process! Arg! _

Its the end of the weekend. You know, I did things. I went to the store. I went to a barbecue. I looked at a house with my sister (she's the one buying). I did dishes and laundry and got water, and generally did things, and yet, here it is, late at night, another work day looming, and I feel that the weekend was a wash. Alas. _

So, I finally joined LibraryThing. Not ten minutes into it, however, and I am annoyed at how difficult it is to add lots and lots of books at once. It took some time to add all of my Terry Pratchett, and it really should be a lot simpler. I should be able to add multiple books at once, and more importantly, I should be able to add a book with only one click, rather than having to click through to multiple screens to add one single book. Finally, if I do have to click through to multiple screens, if I go back a page, I should be at the previous page, not starting all the way over.

So, not off to a good start, LibraryThing.

Sooo. I'm back. I updated the look of things, as you might have noticed. If there is something that a near total crash is good for, its getting the opportunity to play around with the look of a thing. So, that's done. This past month has been insanely busy. I am about 2/5s of the way through my second to last semester in school (I hope) and while the work itself isn't bad, there is a lot of associated stressed, like long hours, low wages, uncertain future, not to mention internal politics and the like. I was sick this last weekend with something sinusy. I'm still slightly congested with a slight cough, but hopefully it will get better soon. My mother jokes that since I've worked in high schools, I've immunized to high school germs, but now that I'm in a middle school, I haven't developed antibodies to all the middle school germs. She's probably right. Cleaned my room yesterday, which was nice, rearranged my desk, which was needed because I got a new chair which is at a different level than my old chair, so the monitor had to move, and everything else with it. Should probably go to bed before too long, I have to get up in the morning. Fortunately, I love my kids, and I love teaching. That hasn't changed. The main stress related doubts are whether I have the fortitude to deal with the politics within a school, rather than in the classroom. Anyway, I'm off, but still, glad to be back. _
