Its so cold, when I go out for any length of time, my breath freezes on my beard. This is somewhat annoying and/or amusing. However, when I come inside, it all melts and so my facial hair looks like I dipped it in water. Much more annoying.

Amazon, meanwhile, is selling scanners for $50.00. Compare my 10-year old scanner, which would require either an adapter cable, or finding a SCSI drive to install on my computer, both of which could be very pricey, or a new scanner for less than half the cost and none of the hassle? I may buy myself a new scanner for Christmas.

On of the items on my to-do list has been to re-load the Bug Fairy comics, which had been lost in the Great Server Crash several years ago. Tonight, I finally got around to doing that.
You can read the comics on the Bug Fairy webpage. There are close to fifty individual comics, in addition to several sketches and other assorted pictures. While there isn't a lot "new" I have done some thing which you, the viewer, may be interested in.
I have added two comics to the archive, one never-before-seen addition to the Continuing Adventures of Bert. The other, a collaborative effort from several years ago between Remi and myself.
I have created a cast page, complete with pictures!
I have annotated (I almost wrote annoyed - ha!) every comic in the archive. Now, you can not only read the comics, you can read my comments on the comics.
All told, there is a lot there now that wasn't there five hours ago. I hope you enjoy it.

I threw out a bunch of food today, leftovers from Thanksgiving, mostly. I was still annoyed, even though it had gone bad. I was especially upset because my lovely stew was inedible. Very disappointing. I hate wasting food like that, but at this point, there was no denying the obvious.

When I went to get my tray, she stopped me, and said, "Oh, let me get you another." And then she went to the back, and brought out 'the adult mashed potatoes.' They have real butter in them, she averred. I can't imagine what we're feeding the kids, then.

Suddenly, its 10:30. I have spent several hours today going through the boxes which were in my room, and sorting them out. I manage to get big piles down to little piles, and little piles organized away, but I am still left with a mess. Less of a mess, true, and a better organized one, which is not to be sneezed at. I am trying not to come to the conclusion that I need more shelves.
